Chu Lai Airport is the biggest airport in Vietnam and it was the American airbase used by the United States Marines in 1967 during the Vietnam War. Some areas of the airport are currently being renovated and there are on-going construction of new infrastructure but the Chu Lai airport is still operational having several domestic flights everyday.
